Welcome
PhD in conservation science
I conducted my PhD thesis in conservation science at Orsay University (ESE lab) and the National Museum of Natural History (CESCO).
My thesis' work is dealing with backyard gardens as places pollinators go through and where they might be protected. Backyard gardens are considered as socio-ecological systems and integrated within the landscape. Inhabitants of backyard gardens are also taken into account through an inquery on their representation of the movment of biodiversity elements in the garden and around the garden.
My thesis' research is integrating several scales of study, from the Île-de-France region to the Saclay plateau field (42 cities around Orsay University) to the garden itself and its inhabitants.
